Addiction is something that can grip us, if temptation and lust are not dealt with. A very common addiction that we see is drug or chemical addiction. Thousands upon thousands of people are addicted to drugs. Let’s not fool ourselves, Christians are not impervious to this type of addiction. Temptation is present in the life of the Christian. The options are to run (flee) or indulge. If we are acting in obedience to God, we will run. Welcome to the studio, as we continue the discussion on Addictions!
1 Corinthians 10:12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.
